Swaggers Crew Auditioning Fresh New Talents !!

Its that time of year again folks! Swaggers crew is recruiting fresh, talented, new blood. So if you think you have the moves ( no tecktonic dancers please) you are more than welcome to come audition. Just email your name, age, background in dancing to [email protected] or you could inbox Ziad Aly Mohamed Aly on facebook ( https://m.facebook.com/ziad.m.aly?refid=46 ) with your info and please note that the auditions will be held the coming thursday 4/10 and saturday 6/10, So anyone interested must send their info before then. If your audition hopefully gets accepted you will have a trial month with Swaggers Crew so we can make our final decision about having you or not. We are looking forward to meeting you all and hope you eventually become a member of our crew.

Swaggers Crew Members visit France Festival

In July 2012, Robert Schman Cultural Centre organised a week of dance in France, at the 100% Hip Hop Festival. Dancers came from all over the world to take part in this hip hop festival including Ziad, Mando and Omar, members of Swaggers Crew.  Throughout the whole week, people from France, Germany, Estonia, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt bonded together through this culture.

The atmosphere was friendly and gave everyone the opportunity to bring something fresh to the floor. Members of Swaggers Crew brought bboying, popping and new style with their Egyptian flavour and enjoyed sharing it with their new international friends. The crew members have taken a little piece of fabulous culture from this experience and say “…it was such an amazing experience.”

Dance is multicultural and reaches out to people from all nations. Swaggers Crew want to touch those who also speak through dance.

Arab’s Got Talent

It was a great experience to be part of Arab’s Got Talent, Season 2, Episode 6. Swaggers performed in front of the 3 judges and left the stage with a positive response from the crowd, 2 ‘Yeses’ and 1 ‘No’.

There was tough competition and we will continue to bring the best that we got! Watch this space and stayed tuned for up and coming events and videos.

Swaggers Crew Hip to Hoppin’

Swaggers Crew brought creativity, style and drama connecting all forms of hip hop at Sawy Culture Wheel, Zamalek, Cairo. The night consisted of various crews from Egypt coming together along with special guests all the way from the States. Rennie Harris Puremovement brought quality, powerful and versatile dancing in all forms of Hip Hop. They brought flavour to the show and shared their taste of Hip Hop.

It was great to see so much passion in so many dancers and share talents with each other. Hip Hop is about coming together and making connections with those around you in your society. How you interpret music can help you to express an inner part of you.

Swaggers were expressing themselves last night and will continue to do so wherever and whenever we can. Have a look at our performance below:
